This memorial has been set up in dedication to a family of six who were all killed in a crash on the
M6 in Cheshire.
Ten-week-old Elouise Statham and her 20-month-old brother Mason were killed with their brothers
Reece, 13, and Jay, nine, and their parents David, 38, and Michelle, 33.
Cheshire Police said that, because of the nature of the accident, the bodies could not be formally
identified but next of kin named the family as the Stathams.
The family, from Llandudno, North Wales, were returning home from visiting relatives in the West
Midlands when the crash happened between junctions 16 and 17 of the M6 at around 10.40pm last night.
The crash, which happened near Sandbach, involved two cars and three heavy goods vehicles, police
said.
So very very sorry to hear about such a tragic loss of a wonderful loving family.
Wishing you peace together forever.
Just don't know what to say except thinking of you all............
RIP lots of love to you all the Wardle Family xxxxxx
Dave (Taff), the big guy with an even bigger heart. We have known each other since the 80’s, we were friends for some time then became more. I know we hadn’t seen each other for some years but the memories are still like it was yesterday. Me and Jen often reminisce about the old days at your Mom & Dad's. Do you remember how your bedroom became the extension of the youth club? It was always open house. Me, you, Jen, Jazz, Sam and Gus. The days I will never forget. You were a friend to everyone you met. Nothing was too much trouble, always there to help. I was so happy for you when you met Michelle, your soul mate, and then you went on to have four beautiful babies. My heart goes out to Angela, Irene and family and Michelle’s Mom and Dad and family. You were a very special guy who has touched so many hearts including mine. Forever in my thoughts. Love to you both and your precious babies Love Shell x x x x x x
God Bless.
Geoff Gloster: The Statham's used to live next door to my nan and grandad and knowing the family for over 40 years, I have fond memories of Dave and his dad Alan. Alan and I used to play for several different darts teams and in David's late teens and early 20's almost every Sunday we used to meet to play darts with friends at our local social club. On occasions I used to let David win a game and he got excited, our hearts go out to Angela and her family and also Michelle's family at this tragic loss. God Bless.
Kim Gloster: I knew the family but I knew Reece the most, and I used to play with him when he came up from Llandudo to see his grandparents that live on our road, he was such a nice and funny boy also a good footballer, my heart goes out to all the friends and family of the Stathams. Always in my heart. Rest In Peace.
I met Michelle and Elouise at breastfeeding group, she was such a lovely friendly lady, and Elouise was a beautiful little baby girl.
Such a tragedy - the whole town is devestated.
The only solace is that you are all together.
God bless you all

So sorry
I am so shocked to hear this terrible news. I grew up living opposite David and his family and he truly was a lovely person. He was funny and kind and always did his best by people. I will always remember him as a cheeky chappy who played everyone up and just a genuinely nice person. It is clear to see that he adored his wife and children and for this to happen is just heartbreaking.
My thoughts go out to his Mum and sister and to Michelle's family too.
As others have said, til me meet again.

So Sad
Everyone who knew any of this family miss them loads, and those who didn't can't believe what has happened. I was in school with Reece. He loved music, football and karate, and if it is possible to be a gentleman at 13, Reece was it. He was in the choir with my younger sister, and everyone is devastated. We all miss his permanent smile and his brilliant Brummie accent. I trained at The Dojo wth Reece and Jay, and sometimes helped teach them. They were two throughly gorgeous lads, couldn't say a bad word about them. Both cheeky, loveable, wonderful boys. I didn't know the rest of the family well, but did meet them, and found them to be a close, loving family. Two proud parents with 3 lovely boys and a beautiful little girl. Such a tragic loss of 6 young lives. My thoughts are with the family and friends left behind. Rest in Peace Together Michelle, David, Reece, Jay, Mason and Elouise. We all miss you so much. Llandudno is thinking of you tonight.
